LOST in Wavecrafts
Sacred Craft Expo was full of legends. My son and I have the pleasure to meet shaper virtuoso, Matt Biolos. His asymmetric shape was a blend of all his shapes and abundant volume. I ask him why and his answer was a word of wisdom, " I surf the most crowded wave in California (Tresles) and I want to catch more waves". Strict to basics, enjoy the ride!

XTR Technology
Another figure that impact the surfboard construction and was present in San Diego Expo was Javier Huarcaya. His extruded polystyrene blanks, closed cell, which mean that do not absorb water, is a most go choice. I still have a retro fish and do not have dings or pressure dings. The new 7 series resist high temperatures and do not delaminate. High tensile strengh foam with combined epoxy resin. Enjoy the ride!

Carl Ekstrom, Hydrodynamic Asymmetry
Early morning, saturday october 8th, while waiting on the parking of the San Diego fairgrounds, a thin figure with a typical Panama hat and grey hair was walking fast with multiple collar ID's in his hands. His humility and kindness with all people that pass his way was distinctive. Revealing his known status in a world of wave sliders in a unique fashion. His name, Carl Ekstrom, who was honored by his surf peers in Sacred Craft Expo 2011. Enjoy the ride!

The Bonzer Legends in Sacred Craft ,San Diego
THE ALTERNATIVE SURF CULTURE
I had the magnificent idea to travel from Puerto Rico to the Sacred Craft Expo in San Diego California for an academic sabatic in surfing. After 9 hours in an airplane we arrived to San Diego with a superb weather, blue skies and a shining Sun. My first booth stop was Surfy-Surfy and for my surprise I met the legend and creator of the Bonzer, Malcom Campbell. Last year stopped in Puerto Rico on his shaping tour and made some light vehicles on our island. He knows well Puerto Rico and its surfing community! Will post some of our photos and experiences daily, Enjoy the ride!
