After watching Rincon Classic video, I was curious about the wave sliding vehicle that Tom Curren was riding at that contest. Then I recall the shape and my brain archives took me to the Sacred Craft last october.
Daniel Thomson futuristic designs and his collaboration to the Hydrodynamica project has ejected to a new level surfboard design. Taking Simmon's theory and creating a high performance planning hull. Mantaining volume, parallel lines, hatched parallel fins and jet fighter tail configurations that defining a new approach to the planning hull concept. This kid is part of the new generation of shapers that is changing surfboard designs. Enjoy his ride!

I met Sean Mattison at the Del Mar Sacred Craft Expo in San Diego. I was impressed of his evolutionary and futuristic design of the fish as a highperformance sliding machine. Sean sent me this picture of his latest inspiration. This boards are simply a quiver buster. You can find the Von Sol site link at the left of our site. Enjoy this slide and enjoy the ride!

Rising swell and only 1 1/2 hours to test it due to fatherhood responsabilities of real life. This board define stability and scream for ocean power. A slight decrease in volume results in easy duckdive and more performance. Awesome paddling even with more rocker and locking on wave without effort. Adding the Nubster fin was an asset, more drive, stability and mantaining quad speed. I will use this board for chest and up waves. Thumbs up for MHL. Enjoy the ride!
