His flowing surfing style and veteran tactics help him to be the first surfer in Grand Master category to earn an unprecedented 4 world titles. Leading the Puertorrican team to a 4th place overall , winnng the copper medal over 22 countries competing in this contest.
Another Puertorrican figure was Carlos Cabrero who placed 2nd in master division, obtaining a well deserved silver medal. Also I have to make clear that Carlos is the only latino in winning the prestigious Pipeline Volcom Contest in history. The Puertorrican surfing community and " The Alternative Surf Culture" blog thank's your bravery in the wave arena and the honor of having athletes with our country in the soul.
