Masters_010

Intense competiotion at the final day in the ISA World Master Surfing Championship in the beautifull Nicaragua was the rule today. Barreling 5 foot Hawaiian scale ,beachbreak offshore conditions make the perfect conditions for one of the most competitive contest in ISA history. The Hawaiians showed complete dominance  at the competition, making clear why they are the founders of the sport of kings. Sunny Garcia made clear why he was a previous ASP World champion, taking the Gold in the Grand Master category and also helping his team to win the Gold medal.
Our 4x World Master Surfing champion, Juan Ashton did not had the luck for quality waves in his heat ending in 3rd place, winning the Bronce Medal in the Grand Master category for Puerto Rico. The Puertorrican team won the Copper Medal in the Aloha Team Cup with an oustanding surfing. We are very proud of our team and the great effort that showed in this competitive arena. Arriba Boricuas!
